Halloween Projects

Here are the Halloween projects I’ve been working on for the past month or so. See, just because I don’t post an entry, it doesn’t mean I’m not busy. 🙂

There are also some on other pages. If I get a chance, I’ll try to link to them at the bottom.

Halloween Fence

This is what I sent out in my October newsletter.

Halloween Fenct

Halloween Fence

Stamp set: Batty for you

Ink: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Barely Banana

Paper: Kraft, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla, Old Olive

Accessories: Small oval punch, Boho blossoms punch, Frightful Fence jumbo wheel, Old Olive 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon, 1-3/8″ circle

Techique for pumpkins: Punch out five ovals in orange cardstock, and ink edges using the corresponding ink color. Attach two ovals to each side of the back of the center oval, angling slightly to get the pumpkin shape (the more you angle in at the top, the “fatter” the bottom is compared to the top). Using Boho blossoms punch, punch half of 8-petal flower out of Old Olive. Make a very shallow “V” along the straight edge. Attach to the top of the pumpkin. Add a piece of Old Olive grosgrain ribbon for the stem.

Halloween Treat Box

I found the template to this on Splitcoast. I knew I had to do it. This is the alternate project for this month, as well as my swap.

Halloween Acetate Box

Halloween Monsters

The inspiration for this in general comes from Martha Stewart paper at Michael’s. At first I wanted to buy the papers (huh?), then I realized I could do the faces myself! I like to say, the guy on the left was inspired by my husband. 🙂

Trick or Treat Card

This was based on a card that Cindy had at the August meeting. I had to try my own version. I think I didn’t get a picture of the card with the insert pulled out. There is something in each window (Chris said they needed something; I was going to leave them blank).
