Starting today, an add-on kit is available for the August Paper Pumpkin, while supplies last. The August Paper Pumpkin kit will create fall-themed packaging (6 bags and 12 tags). If you would rather make note cards, then the add-on kit is for you!

The add-on kit is available in the online store for $10. You will receive this like a regular order, not with your Paper Pumpkin kit.

Looking for other products in the online store to coordinate with your August kit? Consider these:

Here’s the teaser video, in case you missed it earlier:

How Large is your Wish List?

Okay, now that the Annual Catalog has been live for almost 2 months now… do you have a large wishlist, and wonder how you can afford it all?

Well, if your wishlist is about $100, you have a couple of options.

Bonus Days

For every $50 you spend in July, you will receive a $5 coupon to spend in August. So, you can get a little bit extra “back” in return for spending a little.

Did you know that Paper Pumpkin subscriptions count? Yup. Purchase a 3-month Paper Pumpkin subscription for $63, and you have $5 to spend in August.

Hint: The August Paper Pumpkin kit will have an add-on kit in the online store, which will help you convert your kit into a bunch of notecards. Starting August 1, for just $10, while supplies last. The August kit will feature fall-themed packaging. Check out the teaser video below.

Extra, Extra Promotion

Okay, with me so far? Still got that $100 wishlist? What if I told you that you could get even MORE for that $100?

In July and August, join as a demonstrator for $99, and you can pick out up to $155 of products. WOW! There is no shipping charge, either, so it’s like another 10% savings right there. All you pay is $99 plus tax.

Once you join, you will automatically receive a 20% discount on all future purchases. You will even receive a $10 coupon to spend in the month following the month you joined!

In order to stay active, all you need to do is spend (or receive orders of) $300 each quarter. That averages $100 per month. Your first quarter minimum is waived, so the earliest you would need to meet this minimum is December 31.

Hint: You have a month grace period in the following quarter. That would be January 31.

Don’t think you will make your minimums? Don’t worry, there is no penalty for dropping. But, demonstrators get to see the Holiday catalog in just a few days, and pre-ordering starts on August 1. And, Sale-a-bration comes in early January, with the pre-order in December. So… you may hang in there longer than you think!

Any questions? Let me know.

Bonus Days and Extra, Extra Promotion

Tomorrow starts two promotions, yay!

Bonus Days

Starting July 1, we have Bonus Days again! For those of you who are not familiar with Bonus Days: For every $50 you purchase in July, you will be emailed a $5 coupon to use in August. Sound fun?

There are a few catches, of course:

  • You need to provide a valid email address at the time of your order.
  • The coupon code will be emailed to you. You must save this code to use later, because it cannot be sent again.
  • If you earn multiple coupon codes on one order, you will get multiple emails.
  • Purchase of a Starter Kit does not qualify.

Check out the online store. Don’t forget to use the July host code to the right. (Anyone who orders with the host code will share in any hostess dollars earned for that order!)

Extra, Extra Promotion

Speaking of Starter Kits, the Extra, Extra Promotion recruiting bonus is in effect during July and August. You pay $99 and can choose up to $155 in products. That’s $30 more than usual! (This is similar to the promotion during Sale-a-bration.)

But, that’s not all! In the month after you join, Stampin’ Up! will email you a $10 coupon code.

Sign up here.

A Curious Product

If you have been browsing the catalog, on pages 182 and 183, you would notice the usual cleaners: Stampin’ Mist, Stampin’ Scrub, and (added last year) the Simply Shammy.

Then, there’s a new item: Stamp Cleaning Pad and refill. (I linked to the online store, for those without a physical catalog.)

What is it, and does it replace the other cleaners?

I was curious, too, so decided to buy it. There was even a short thread about it on Splitcoast Stampers.

For those of you who hate stained photopolymer stamps, this is for you!

You know how a photopolymer stamp will turn pink once you use a red ink, and doesn’t really go away even though you used Stampin’ Mist? Well, with this cleaner, remove as much of the residual ink as you can on scrap paper, then dab onto this pad.

The red will disappear! Check out this photo.

You can see I stamped hearts, but the stamp still looks new! You can see the cat to the left. I left Memento ink on there for a while. Most of the normal yellow stain was removed, but not all.

What’s kinda cool is that you see the ink transferring to the stamp cleaning pad.

Caveat 1:

You will still need your old cleaners.

This new cleaner is really for preventing stains. The solution is a bit oily, so you may still want to clean your stamps however you were cleaning them before. (I use a shammy, so use Stampin’ Mist first.)

Caveat 2:

This will not remove old stains, although it may remove some of it. I was able to remove some of the staining with one stamp.

Before and after:

However, I have a stamp that is highly stained from multiple colors, and the new cleaning pad did not help much.

Last Day for June Paper Pumpkin is Tomorrow

Tomorrow, June 10, is the last day to sign up for this month’s Paper Pumpkin. There will be 16 beach-themed cards in a fun size, as well as an envelope to carry them.

Here’s a quick sneak video:
