I’ve been crafting but struggling to find enough time to blog about it…
Here’s a recent card that I know the recipient already got:
Stamp set: Balloon Celebration (Occasions catalog), Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Early Espresso
Paper: Soft Sky, Very Vanilla, Typeset Specialty DSP, Corrugated Paper
Accessories: Linen thread, Balloon Bouquet punch (Occasions catalog), Gold Wink of Stella pen (Occasions catalog), Gesso
Isn’t that a cool idea for making eggs? I borrowed the idea from this Stampin’ Up! blog post. One change I made was to stamp with the back side of the solid balloon image. (Did you know you could do that?!?) That way, when you punch the shape, the ink goes all the way to the edge without any white (or vanilla) showing.
I stamped off all three colors before stamping onto Very Vanilla.
I spread a thin layer of gesso on the Typeset Specialty DSP to tone it down. I didn’t want the words so visible.
Today is the last day of Sale-a-bration! Yes, I know, I didn’t really blog about it, now did I? You can get free items for each $50 of products that you buy. You have until tonight at 11:50 pm MT to order.
Here’s a great last minute item: a Paper Pumpkin 3-month subscription is now on sale for $55. That is a savings of $4.85 over the regular price (which reverts tomorrow). You’ll also snag a Sale-a-bration item. TIP: add a couple of small items such as the Metal Rimmed Pearls (which are a Weekly Deal this week) or some It’s My Party Enamel Dots or even the Baker’s Twine combo pack. It will make the shipping a little bit more reasonable.
Why do I mention this?
Because Stampin’ Up! is celebrating its ONE MILLIONTH kit delivered! And, how may you ask? Well, all recipients of April’s Paper Pumpkin kit will receive a gift: and extra stamp set called “All about Everything”. Sign up by April 10 to be able to receive April’s kit.
By buying the 3-month subscription during Sale-a-bration (as in, tonight!), it’s like getting TWO gifts in return–the one Sale-a-bration item you can pick out and the extra stamp set in April’s kit.
Here’s the thank you from the CEO Sara:
Thanks for stopping by today!
(and I think I’d better get the sidebar updated…)
