February Newsletter

Wondering what’s going on? Well, we’ve got the awesome Sale-a-bration and Occasions catalog!

Let’s start with a project…

Project of the Month

I felt like making an aperture card, and I thought the more (apertures), the merrier.

Stamp set: You Plus Me (Occasions catalog)

Ink: Real Red, Early Espresso

Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Stacked with Love DSP stack (Occasions catalog)

Accessories: Hearts collection framelits, Stampin’ dimensionals

And here it is opening/open.

Isn’t that fun? I like the double aperture and popping up the smallest heart in the middle. I think the hardest part was choosing which patterns to use and the card base color. I knew I wanted the “XO” pattern and Real Red heart in the middle… I settled on the large dots for the top layer because the pattern is “bigger” than the “XO” and it is the same color as the card base.

I should mention that the stamp set and paper stack are available as a bundle, which means you’d get both for 15% off individual prices.

Occasions Catalog

We’ve got a new seasonal catalog. Okay, not so new; it’s actually been available since early January. There’s still lots of time to drool over all the cute stuff in there; products are available to order until June 2.

I should be mailing out copies soon for those of you on my mailing list. If you don’t get one next week, and you want a hard copy to browse, drop me a line. (Sorry, I am a bit late on this as well.)

One thing new with this catalog, is that they are offering some of the sets in all three stamp options: wood-mount, clear-mount, and photopolymer. Hurray! As mentioned above with the project, they are offering bundles again, so there are opportunities to purchase coordinating products at a discount. There is so many fun little details that it took me several passes through the catalog to catch everything.

Just a note: this catalog comes with a wrapper telling you about Sale-a-Bration. Don’t forget to open it up and look inside! Oh, and it has a cute pattern on the back, so you can re-purpose it by using it on a project.

Another note: You may see that some of the stamp sets are not shown with all images at 100% (at least one will be at 100% for you to see some of the scale). Stampin’ Up! said they did this to create more space to show samples. If you have any questions about the size of any of the images, let me know.

You can find a link to the PDF on the right side of the page. Here’s the link to the online store if you’d rather browse online.

It’s the time of year you can get free products, in three different ways.

  • Shop. For every $50 you spend, you can choose one free Sale-a-bration product.
  • Host. Once your party/order reaches $250, you get an extra $25 in hostess dollars.
  • Join. Sign up to be a demonstrator for $99 (picking out $125 in goodies), and choose either a kit or two Sale-a-bration items as your bonus.

There are a lot of fun goodies you can earn this year. There are stamp sets, designer series paper, and … you can also get sets of the Blendabilities that are in the Annual catalog. Wow!

Again, if you are on my mailing list, you should be getting a copy of this with the Occasions catalog.

There should be a link on the right side of this page for the PDF.

Paper Pumpkin Special

Just for Sale-a-bration, Stampin’ Up! is offering the 3-month Paper Pumpkin subscription for $5 off. That’s $54.85, which includes shipping (tax is extra). The cool thing is that this qualifies you for one Sale-a-bration item! But, how could you just stop at one? 🙂

If you are already a subscriber, you can save a little bit on your subscription and get a Sale-a-bration item at the same time!

You can purchase a subscription at the online store. After purchase, you will get an email with a redemption code. You just add that to your account and you are set.
