June Monthly Newsletter

Are you excited?!? June is the month that the new Annual Catalog goes live. I’ve been (snuggled? sleeping? held hostage?) with this catalog for about a month now, and I’m still not done absorbing it all!

Are you on my mailing list? Did you get one yet? I finished mailing a whole bunch, but I have more catalogs waiting to hand out. So, please contact me if you are interested in a copy of the new catalog (the ones in the mail should arrive by Monday or Tuesday.)

Project of the Month

This card uses two of my favorite items so far: anything Blackberry Bliss and the new In Color ribbon in Hello Honey. Oh, they are so happy together! Blackberry Bliss is such a rich color and the new ribbon is so lovely! (If you get a catalog from me, you’ll get a sampling of the colors and the ribbon, so you’ll see what I’m talking about.)

Stamp: Endless Birthday Wishes (photopolymer)

Ink: Blackberry Bliss (new In Color), Sahara Sand

Paper: Sahara Sand, Blackberry Bliss (new In Color), Hello Honey (new In Color), Whisper White, Moonlight DSP Stack (new!)

Accessories: Hello Honey stitched satin ribbon (new), 2-3/8″ Scallop circle punch, 1-3/4″ circle punch, Dazzling Details

See! It all looks great together, and Sahara Sand is the perfect backdrop for the two colors. I stamped off once before stamping the cake from Endless Birthday Wishes, so that the color was just a bit softer.

Special Starter Kit

From now until June 30, Stampin’ Up! is giving you the opportunity to become a demonstrator for just $50. You get to choose up to $55 in product. You will also receive business supplies (which includes a case of catalogs to share with your friends), a Paper Pumpkin kit, and all the usual perks of being a demonstrator. Plus, you can get FREE Convention registration for this year, if you join before registration ends (June 20). If you join before June 2, you can choose pre-order products for your starter kit.

The $50 Starter Kit is perfect for you, if you already have a lot of products, and want to sign up for the discount or to have a way to pay for your hobby.

The $99 Starter Kit will also be available (choose up to $125 in product) during this promotion.

Paper Pumpkin Pre-paid Subscriptions

I think I mentioned this before, but don’t forget: Paper Pumpkin pre-paid subscriptions are now available.

What is Paper Pumpkin? It is a monthly suscription that delivers to your doorstep a complete kit designed to create projects in about 30 minutes. All you will need is adhesive and maybe a pair of scissors. Everything else is included.

You can choose to sign up for the program and pay monthly, or you can buy a pre-paid subscription and apply it to your account. There are some advantages of a pre-paid subscription:

  • You have some crafting money to treat yourself to some kits (pay for it all at once so you’re not tempted to spend the money on something else before the next kit gets billed!)
  • You want to get a small discount (6-month pre-paid subscriptions get $1 off per month; 12-month pre-paid subscriptions are $2 off per month)
  • You can’t decide on what to order at your friend’s stamping party, so you buy a pre-paid subscription (but really, who couldn’t find something fun to get?)
  • You love the kits and also want a few other items; you can put them all on one order and receive hostess benefits (minimum of $25) for an order of $150 or more
  • You want to buy a subscription for someone else

Whether the pre-paid subscription is for you or someone else, you get an email with a redemption code. You (or your recipient) then applies this code to your account. Simple!

The pricing is available on this flyer. Pre-paid subscriptions can be purchased at my online store, at a workshop, or through an order I place for you. Need more information? Just ask!
