Pesky Patterns, Part 2
So, I was really loving the card I CASEd from Mary Fish in my previous post. I can see doing a bunch of those cards, but a girl needs a little variety, you know?
Well, I then ran across a card by Kimberly Dawn Lewis on Stampin’ Connection (a demonstrator-only share site). She used a bunch of squares, with a little bit of a twist: they had a few corners rounded. She also used the Everyday Enchantment DSP (from SAB), but I thought it would work well with the Sweet Shop Specialty DSP.
So I punched away, choosing what’s in each square, and this is what I got:
Stamp set: Curly Cute
Ink: Island Indigo
Paper: Pool Party textured, Whisper White, Sweet Shop Specialty DSP (Occasions Mini)
Accessories: 1-1/4″ square punch, Corner rounder punch, Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Notecards
Isn’t that just striking? I don’t know if it’s that I used a different stamp set from the previous card, but, there’s a completely different feel to this card (not as whimsical; feels more “clean graphic” to me).
Ah, this project just makes me feel happy!
You know, you could change the DSP to match the other sentiments in the stamp set. Hmmm… 🙂
