I still make seasonal treats for the people at work. I found out, in December, that some people actually LOOK FORWARD to receiving these. Some, for the treat itself, and some to see what kind of packaging I use. Interesting… 🙂
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Pretty in Pink dots (from Subtles Patterns DSP stack)
Accessories: Owl Builder punch, Modern Label punch, Full Heart punch, Small square envelopes, Mini Clothespins, Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon (still on Clearance Rack!)
All it’s missing is a rhinestone … but I didn’t think they would notice! 😀
I couldn’t stop thinking how CUTE this was, especially with the mini clothespin. In fact, that’s the one detail that my co-workers couldn’t get over. It’s so tiny, yet functional! Really, that’s how I attached the heart to the ribbon.
Inside, I included a packet of Tazo Passion (herbal) tea, Andes Mint valentine, and Dove dark chocolate heart. Yum!
In case you’re wondering how long this took to make …. Not including time to prototype and buy the treats, this took about 3-1/2 hours for 55 treats. The time includes time to stamp, punch, glue, insert into envelopes, tie ribbon, and attach sentiment. That comes out to about 4 minutes per treat!
