On this card, Dasher is in disguise — he’s dressed up to look like Rudolph. Now, I don’t know if it’s because he’s hiding from someone, or if he thinks being Rudolph is more fun (or will attract the girl reindeer). 🙂
Stamp set: Dasher, Tags ‘Til Christmas (Holiday Mini)

Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Deck the Halls DSP (Holiday Mini)

The idea of turning Dasher into Rudolph is not a new idea… but I was waiting for the opportunity to use Stampin’ Up! rhinestones to do it. Since we only have one color (clear), I had to customize the one rhinestone. You can do this with any alcohol-based marker (if you use the Stampin’ Up! marker, the color will rub off). I used a Copic marker, but I read that people have successfully used Sharpies and Bic Mark-its.
For the sentiment, I stamped just the date from one of the stamps in the set Tags ’til Christmas. It’s one of the stamp sets in the Handmade Christmas promotion, and I wanted to show a way to use the stamps other than as-is. 🙂 (BTW, the promotion is good only until tomorrow…)
