Almost, Part 2
I also prototyped a couple of other 3×3 notecards, for the big, organized notecard swap at Convention. We were supposed to make 80 notecards, so I ended up abandoning these ideas because they would take longer to make.
The first one had some watercoloring and nice bright colors. This one would not be hard to make, but I was intimidated by the amount of coloring I would have to do for 80 cards.
Stamp set: A Flower for All Seasons
Ink: StazOn Jet black, Marina Mist, Riding Hood Red, Soft Suede, Old Olive
Paper: Sahara Sand textured, Riding Hood Red, Watercolor paper, Greenhouse Gala DSP
Accessories: 1-3/4″ scallop circle punch, 1-3/8″ circle punch, Aqua painters, Very Vanilla 1/8″ taffeta ribbon
The second notecard is a window card. I had a bit of trouble getting the openings to line up. Hence, I thought it would take much too long to make 80 of these cards. For a handful of cards (as a gift, for instance), this would be cute, though.
Stamp set: Forest Friends, Woodgrain background
Ink: Soft Suede, Soft Suede marker, Sahara Sand marker, Pumpkin Pie marker
Paper: Sahara Sand textured, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Accessories: Movers & Shapers Punch Windows (plus platform from Movers & Shapers Curly Label Bigz XL die), Full Heart punch, Very Vanilla 1/8″ taffeta ribbon
I just love the little touch of the ribbon tied in the window. Plus, the layered heart opening.
