Customer Thanks

For those of you who requested Mini Catalogs by mail, I hope you got them by now. As a thank you, you will have gotten one of these mini cards along with your Mini Catalog.

The first uses a new paper called Presto Patterns Specialty cardstock. Each pattern (there are 2 each of 6 designs in each pack) is glossy, almost like it was heat embossed, while the base cardstock is matte white. The glossy design resists ink, so you can add any color you want with sponging, spritzing, direct-to-paper, you name it! You’ve got instant emboss-resist, without having to do the embossing yourself! And, in whatever color you want. Isn’t it cool?

Mr. & Mrs. Card

Stamp set: Tiny Tags (carryover from Occasions Mini)

Ink: Pretty in Pink, StazOn Jet Black

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Presto Patterns Specialty

Accessories: Basic Gray taffeta, Scallop border punch, Stamping sponges

In case you’re wondering, the Bride, Groom, and Bridesmaid Specialty paper already found in the Idea Book & Catalog have designs that are foil-stamped, not embossed like this new paper. So, the ink-resist is more definite with the Presto Patterns Specialty.

Here’s a shot of a plain piece (with Whisper White in the foreground) to show you what I mean. You can see how the design is raised a bit, like regular heat embossing.

The other card I made to give out uses the Island Oasis DSP. I noticed it matched a stamp set in the Idea Book & Catalog, so I borrowed it from my mom and whipped these up.

Mahalo Card

Stamp set: Paradise, Just Perfect alphabet, Tiny Tags (carryover from Occasions Mini)

Ink: Old Olive, StazOn Jet Black

Paper: Mellow Moss, Old Olive, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Island Oasis DSP (Summer Mini)

The leaf and flowers have a little bit of Smooch Spritz on them.

So, in case you have been paying attention, I also sprinked in a reference to an Occasions Mini catalog item that is carrying over. Yup! Some of the items are still available to order, and are listed in the Catalog Write-ins page. Check it out!
