Swaps from March Meeting

I hope everyone is okay with me sharing the swaps. I don’t have all of the stamp sets used, so it’s nice to see samples of them.

First, our Make and Take. We made a five-sided basket with the scallop envelope die and a bunch of Sale-A-Bration items.

Here’s a closeup of the tag on the basket. It’s pretty cute.

There were a few swaps that used Sale-A-Bration items. The first one is from Cindy. Cute flowers using the 5-petal punch. The sentiment is from Garden Greetings.

The second was a treat bag by Janine. She chose colors based on the candies. I like the scallop circle layered under the wide oval. And the flower brad. She also textured the bag topper, and added a strip cut with the eyelet border punch.

The last project that used Sale-A-Bration items was from Lorraine (thanks for hosting!) She made a basket from cardstock (start with a square), then added strips of DSP around the outside edges. The chick is from A Good Egg.

The first card of the rest of the items is by Stephanie. She die cut a folded piece of cardstock to create a scallop circle card. She added another full scallop circle on top and stamped with Just Buzzin’ By. I didn’t take a picture, but she added another partial piece inside to create a pocket (for a gift card?).

The next card is by Kim. She used the Big Shot a lot on this card. She used the Flower, Daisies #2 die and the Texture Plate Kit #4. You can see the texture in the picture. The sentiment is from All Holidays, but I’m not sure how she made the oval outlines.

The next card was made by Melinda. She used the faux silk technique (the tutorial can be found on Splitcoast). She used the stamp set Bird on a Branch, and included the Flower Burst embosslit. It looks pretty nice, especially with the color sponged in the middle.

The last card was made by Tina (nice to meet you, finally!). She used the branch from Eastern Influences. She colored some of the flowers, then covered the flowers with Crystal Effects and added Dazzling Diamonds. It’s a pretty neat look.

Thanks, everyone, for nice swaps, as usual!
